King Charles proclamation timings in Huddersfield and road closures

A few streets will be shut down in Huddersfield on Sunday as the proper declaration of Ruler Charles III is held.

From 10am on Saturday Lord Charles will be declared at the Promotion Committee in the state lofts at St James' Castle in London.

city centers and other public structures will be flown at full-pole from 11am for around 24 hours.

Occasions will then be hung on Sunday by boards the nation over to declare the new Ruler officially.

In Huddersfield and Kirklees this declaration will occur at Huddersfield Municipal center on Sunday.

The decree in Huddersfield is a public occasion and starts at 2pm. It will be driven by City chairman of Kirklees, Cllr Masood Ahmed.
